What Am I Walking Into?
Sunday worship begins at 11 am and is between 45 and 60 minutes in length. There are 2 or 3 songs, maybe a video, sometimes a play. All ages are involved. You may engage with worship however you feel comfortable. The Worship Leader will share a hope-filled message about Jesus.
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated in worship the first Sunday of each month and on Maundy Thursday evening worship during Holy Week. The Book of Order W-2.0409 states: “Even those who doubt may come to the table in order to be assured of God’s love and grace in Jesus Christ.”
A “Blue Christmas” worship held on the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, reminds us of God’s support even when we feel little Christmas joy.
Each Christmas Eve, we gather for a candlelight service.

Where Are We?
If you try to GPS Main Street in Golconda, you will end up going through towns that no longer exist! State Highway 146 comes across southern Illinois right into Golconda, which is located on the Ohio River. From Interstate 24, just go east from Vienna, through Grantsburg, past Dixon Springs State Park, the Chocolate Factory, past the schools, and into Golconda where you will see a four-way stop. We are just through the intersection, past the library on the corner.
